The CPA, upon being satisfied with tangible examples of the security controls of the service provider system can then offer their professional opinion as to the security of information within the system via their report. Pitchly is meeting or exceeding the system security standards for SOC 2 Type 2 which include standards around security, processing integrity, availability, privacy and confidentiality. This focus on data security is not new for Pitchly. The company received a clean opinion on its SOC 2 Type 1 examination in August 2021. “We are excited to complete our SOC 2 Type 2 evaluation and receive a clean opinion,” says Pitchly CEO, Ryan Gerhardy. “We are innovating in the Pitchly suite and our progress must be secure.
